great church programs 1

I figure it would be good to give kudos to some of the great programs/procedures I've seen in various churches and hopefully encourage others to follow suit

First Baptist Church, Weymouth usually gives a reminder to the congregation as the offering is being taken saying that it is only intended for members of the church and if you're a visitor, don't feel any need to give. There was a little more that clarified why, but I can't remember the specifics.
They also have giving envelopes primarily to make it easier to tally up yearly giving for members' tax records, but I've found it to be a nice reminder for regular giving. (I find it hard to regularly give what the Lord has laid on my heart to give, so I welcome any reminders I can get)
Pastor Matt additionally sends out weekly emails concerning what's going on in the church and writes on a weekly blog entitled TruthWalk
They also have a great "Men in Missions" prayer time once a month where they pray for all the missionaries the church supports (a packet is printed up with specific prayers and praises for each missionary as well as their location, mission, family members and contact info) after finishing praying, they sit down to a hearty breakfast and time of fellowship.
Finally, they have recently instituted an "Opportunities Sheet" giving members a place to offer and request goods and services.
There are many other good points to this church, but these are the most memorable that I haven't seen in other churches.
